Our Values

1. Biblically Sound is to reach and touch the city of Durban, the nation of South Africa and the nations of the world with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is to build a church of influence to glorify the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The success of this vision will ultimately be determined by the strength of our partnerships. When we as a church take up the responsibility for our part and people commit to sharing in this vision through valuing partnerships, then we will see our lives and the lives of others grow from strength to strength.
 2. Relevant Worship
We value heartfelt worship that honors God, is directed by the spirit and changes lives.  We strive to see a Church whose heartfelt praise and worship touching Heaven and changing earth; worship which connects with the praises of people throughout the earth in exalting Christ with powerful songs of faith and hope.
3. Multicultural
We believe that we should be an accurate reflection of the cultures which are represented in the location.  In order for this to happen we strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere to individuals from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We believe that to function as a multicultural church opportunities for ministry and leadership are available to those from cultures other than the majority.  Although the leadership places a priority on being led by the Spirit in releasing individuals into different positions, no person shall be denied these opportunities based upon their ethnicity. (Revelation 5:9,10)
4. Family-centered
We value the sanctity of marriage and the family according to God’s design. We value strengthening the families of our church through clear biblical instruction thereby defining and guiding marriage and parent-children relationships. Biblical families will reflect the image of God. We are committed to strengthening the family both through preaching, teaching and pastoral care. We provide a variety of ministries designed to strengthen the home with
5. Divine Healing:
We believe that the prayer of faith shall heal the sick.  We believe that through prayer the Lord shall raise up the sick. We believe that it is the privilege of all believers to pray for His healing virtue (Isaiah 53`:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:18).
6. Resurrection:
We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal blessedness of those made righteous in and through Christ and the endless suffering of the wicked. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again (Mark 9:43-48; John 5:28-29; John 11:25-26).
7. Eternity:
We believe in the eternal salvation of the believers and in the eternal damnation and punishment of the non believers. We believe that the consummation of all things includes the visible, personal and glorious return of Jesus Christ the “Blessed Hope” of the Church (John 3:16; 1 John 2:25; 1 John 5:11-13; Romans 6:23).
8. The Church:
We believe in the local church.  This consists of a company of believers in Jesus Christ who have a credible profession of faith and have associated for worship, work, and fellowship (Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 5:25-27; I Corinthians 12:12-14).
